Booqito Update: Gift cards and improved calendar (Mar 3, 2025)

Hello from Booqito! Here’s the latest product update. We believe the new features will delight both you and your customers. We’re introducing two key enhancements that significantly improve working with gift cards and the booking calendar.

🎁 Gift Cards – completely redesigned for a better customer experience

📅 Calendar – significantly improved for easier management

Main changes:

• “Booking Calendar” renamed to “Calendar” – simpler, clearer naming
• Info tooltip added after clicking a block – more information at first glance
• Note added to a block event – better communication within the team

Improved event display:

Blocks:

• Time moved to the top-left corner, before the “Block” label
• Note in the middle of the event (if provided)

Bookings:

• Time moved to the top-left corner, before the name/number of bookings
• Booking note moved to the center of the event (if provided)

Advanced features:

• Calendar automatically scrolls to the first event – quick access to current bookings
• Slots are highlighted in yellow areas below the calendar events – clear display of available times
• Clicking a slot creates an order for that time – faster booking creation

Mobile optimization:

• Much better tuned mobile view – perfect display on all devices
• Clicking on empty space or a slot now offers a menu to choose whether to create an order or a block
• Everything is pre-filled with the product/time that was clicked

🔧 What needs to be done?

Nothing! All improvements are already active and you don’t have to set anything. You can try the new features right after logging in to Booqito.
